Life is for living and this is a home that encourages you to do just that. Great modern design with a traditional feel are enhanced by a superb community and so much to enjoy locally!
Sat on the balcony, sun beating down, a glass of wine, casual conversation and the sound of leather upon willow from the cricket field you look across to; it is a picture-perfect moment, one the owners of this home have enjoyed upon many occasions.
It is even more special because this home sits within a popular modern environment, one that 'has been rewarded year after year with a hatful of South & Southeast in Bloom Gold, Silver Gilt and Best in County awards for town centre green design and business park landscaping.'
Kings Hill was once a royal hunting ground, has been a World War II airfield and is now described as 'a vibrant garden village with an established, warm and welcoming community.'
The owners of this lovely home had very simple needs before moving here, 'we loved where we were but needed more space and a garage was essential' they told us.
This home caught their attention because of the view across to the cricket field. They thought they had lost it at first and despite looking at several other homes on the development, nothing else hooked them in the same way. What a delight when they discovered a proposed sale had fallen through and the opportunity to buy it was theirs again, they didn't hesitate and have loved every minute here since.
Sat at the dining table in the kitchen you can see why, it is a home that blends the best of modern design with traditional values. Inside the layout is so easy to live with, eat and entertain in the kitchen diner. The living room is shaped so that you can spread out, you can have a table here if you wish and there is space to just relax into.
There's a cloakroom downstairs, no self-respecting home would be without one and a 'family' bathroom on the first floor with the wonderful bedroom on the top floor enjoying an en suite shower room.
All the first-floor bedrooms are nice sizes, the one at the front opening onto the balcony is used as an office; we imagine staying focused upon work is a little more challenging because of the super view.
There is so much to do when here. Kings Hill has a golf course and a Community Tennis Club.
Kings Hill Football Club and other local teams use the pitches for matches and training at Kings Hill Sports Park. There is a David Lloyd gym, Infinity Fitness UK and if you prefer a ramble then explore the footpaths that meander through nearly forty-six acres of Warren Woods. Walks take you to Wateringbury and... well we'll let you discover all that is possible.
The Control Tower Gallery is set in an art deco building in the heart of Kings Hill and is home to a curated, rolling art exhibition. Keep an eye on the development of the The Turner Contemporary and the University for Creative Arts Public Art Project too.
This is a wonderful home in a vibrant community and there is so much to do on the doorstep, explore West Malling, jump in the car and so many wonderful places are within easy reach or hop on a train to work in London or just enjoy a day out.Get in touch if you like this home.
