At Graham John, “Make Life Special” isn’t just a saying — it’s a way of living. It’s about finding wonder in the everyday, creating meaningful moments, and stepping into the world with intention and joy.

This June, we’re inviting you — our wonderful community — to join us in a simple but powerful challenge that celebrates all of that:

The Challenge: Say Yes to Special

Every week in June, we’re asking you to say yes to something that brings joy, connection, or creativity into your life. Something you might normally put off. Something you’ve been meaning to try. Something that feels a little spontaneous, a little soulful — and a lot special.

It’s about embracing life’s small invitations and rediscovering how even a tiny “yes” can lead to something memorable.

Why Say Yes?

Because “yes” opens doors.
Because spontaneity often leads to stories.
Because the moments that become our favourite memories often start with a simple choice to step outside the routine.

How to Take Part:

  1. Commit to saying yes to something special once a week throughout June (or more if the mood strikes!).

  2. Make a “Yes Jar” at home — write down ideas, pop them in, and pull one out each week.

  3. Share your journey on social media using #SayYesToSpecial and #MakeLifeSpecialChallenge — we’d love to see what you do! Tag us and inspire someone else to join in.

Weekly Prompts (if you need inspiration):

  • Week 1: Say Yes to Spontaneity
Do something unplanned. Take a different route. Book a last-minute day out.

  • Week 2: Say Yes to Connection
Call a loved one. Write a letter. Make time for real, heartfelt conversation.

  • Week 3: Say Yes to Creativity
Bake, draw, dance, or build something. Creativity brings us alive.

  • Week 4: Say Yes to Self-Care
Watch the sunrise. Walk barefoot on the grass. Take a tech-free afternoon.

Need Ideas? Here’s a Starter List:

  • Visit a place in your town you’ve never explored.

  • Say yes to a spontaneous coffee date.

  • Buy a flower for someone you care about — or for yourself.

  • Try a new recipe.

  • Compliment a stranger.

  • Watch the stars.

  • Go out with no plan and follow curiosity.

Let’s Make Life Special Together

This isn’t a challenge about doing more — it’s about doing meaningfully.
It’s about choosing joy, noticing beauty, and leaning into life with an open heart.

So this June, will you join us?

Say yes. Make it special.
And let the magic of small moments begin.
