A Double Celebration at Blenheim Palace: Our First Salon Privé

A tenth anniversary is a special thing — combine it with a twentieth, and you’ve got something truly worth celebrating. So it was with much anticipation that we attended our very first Salon Privé at Blenheim Palace.

This year marked ten years of Salon Privé being hosted at Blenheim, and twenty years since the event was first founded by the Penfold brothers back in 2006. The occasion drew an extraordinary collection of motor cars from around the globe, each one a testament to design, engineering, and timeless style.

You don’t need to be a car enthusiast to appreciate the vehicles on display. From pre-war elegance to mid-century icons and modern marvels, every motoring era was represented. The lines, the craftsmanship, the stories behind each car — it was a feast for the eyes and imagination.

A Setting Fit for the Occasion

Blenheim Palace itself adds a layer of grandeur that elevates the entire experience. The South Lawn, framed by the palace’s baroque architecture, becomes a stage for automotive excellence. The dress code adds to the vibrancy — refined, chic, and celebratory. It’s not just an event; it’s a moment.

What truly stood out was the passion. The people hosting and attending love all things automotive, and that shared enthusiasm creates a unique energy. Passion shared is passion multiplied.

“Here are a few moments we captured from the South Lawn — from sweeping curves to polished chrome, each car told its own story.”
